Exercise: What kind of practices I miss from the foundations?

In general I would say we had a nice foundation.

1. Business

The value especially for huge projects are shared with the stakeholders and the developers also. Not always, but in many cases they know what is the reason behind the change-request or new projects.

Lots of teams are lucky, they can work with a PO and a product backlog. And the stakeholders are also well known.

2. Solution

Considering the industry standards is not easy.Very often the technical vision is decided my an architect without the developers. The lifecycle of the applications are not known, huge number of applications are identified as legacy and even there is a middle-them promise to decommission or re-write them. Unfortunately this projects arrive very rarely, they are always in the future.

DoD is ok at dev team side. But the team organizations are not in advance in general. There are separated architect, operations and analyst teams. They dont follow scrum and even they dont have DoR or DoD. So there is no DoD at organization level.

3. Collaboration

Dev teams are really advanced in collaboration. We spend lots of time and gave attention for the teams empowerment.

The ideal construction of the teams and involving huge part of people with different role is not started.
